Powering Arizona careers start with thorough apprenticeship training—from the basics in the classroom in addition to the hands-on work in labs and the field. In addition, apprentices complete 8,000 hours of on-the-job training and 480 hours of classroom work over a three- to five-year period. Finally, training covers mathematics and physics—including the behavior of electricity, safety, and communication skills.
